Dark King: Forbidden Riches comes with a pretty dark fantasy theme. I think there are groups that love that and groups that hate that. I like it. I am happy that it’s not a theme that’s been used over and over again. And this feels new.
The gameplay during base game is OK, you can get some decent wins if you collect enough wild symbols. But it’s the free spins feature that you want.
During those free spins the bonuses double up, you will get those sticky wilds on top of those multipliers, so during free spins you are able to get wins of 2000 times your bet theoretically. Most of the time though wins vary between 100 and 300 times bet.
The free spins feature feels a bit like Lucky Angler, A Snowy Catch, which is an older NetEnt game which is no longer available. Except this new game offers multipliers, which the other game didn’t.
