Gorilla Kingdom, new 1024 ways NetEnt slot game
Today NetEnt has released their latest slot game, Gorilla Kingdom.
Gorilla Kingdom is a 5 reel, 4 symbols high slot game with 1024 ways instead of paylines.
The game features a jungle theme with standard slot symbols and colorful animals like panthers, birds and of course gorillas. The gorilla symbol, which is the highest paying symbol can also appear stacked on all reels.
The game does also feature scatter symbols on all reels in the form of a diamond. Wild symbols don’t appear on this game.
Free Spins Feature
Getting 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will award 10, 15 or 20 free spins respectively.
During free spins gorilla symbols may transform into gorilla mask symbols. These act the same as normal gorilla symbols but will be collected during free spins.
When you have collected 6 of them, the lowest of the high paying symbols (leopard) will transform into gorilla symbols and that symbol now no longer appears on the reels. After another 6 symbols the Hornbill symbol will transform. After another 6 the Okapi symbol will transform and last after another 6 the Pangolin symbol will transform.
So after you collected 24 gorilla mask symbols the only symbols appearing on the reels are the low standard symbols and the gorilla symbols, including of course scatter symbols.
2, 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols during free spins will also add 3, 10, 15 or 20 more free spins respectively.
Gorilla Kingdom uses a pretty standard theme and even a pretty standard bonus feature. But this feature is pretty cool and also popular amung players.
We have seen this jungle theme many times, especially on slot games with ways, like for instance the very popular Raging Rhino game by SG Interactive.
But to be honest, for NetEnt this is a very nice addition to their games library. They don’t offer a lot of games with ways and Gorrila Kingdom is a unique NetEnt slot game.
I enjoyed this game and I am sure a lot of people will.
