I know this won’t be the most interesting post to start the year with, but Play’n Go has released a new slot game, Legacy of Dead.
Why isn’t this the most interesting post, well because Legacy of Ra is a follow-up of Book of Dead and a direct clone of Rise of Merlin, a slot game Play’n Go released some months ago.
Legacy of Dead uses 10 lines and the wild symbol also acts as the scatter symbol. The theme is a classic Egyptian theme and almost the same symbols as the very popular Book of Dead slot game.
Free Spins Feature
Getting 3 or more scatter symbols will award 8 free spins.
Before free spins start 1 random symbols will be chosen to act as an expanding wild. This symbol will expand during free spins and these symbols will pay on any reel.
Getting 3 or more scatter symbols during free spins will add 8 more free spins and another random symbols will be activated.
In theory all 9 symbols can be activated during free spins.
Of course Legacy of Dead is nothing new. Not only have other providers already released games with this feature, Play’n Go themselves have released Rise of Merlin not too long ago.
I don’t know why they have released another game that is exactly the same, except for maybe the theme. Book of Dead is one of Play’n Go’s most popular slot games and this one uses almost the same theme.
This might all sound pretty negative, but that’s just because this game is nothing new. I love games like this, there are many of them and I love them all and play them a lot. So it’s always nice to have another choice. But it might be time that providers stop releasing games like this, enough is enough.
If you like Book of Dead, you might want to try Legacy of Dead too. It is very cool to trigger more than one bonus symbol during free spins.
Play Legacy of Dead at Thrills or Casumo.
