Quickspin has released Big Bad Wolf Megaways. A Megaways version of their popular and one of the most well-known Quickspin slot game, Big Bad Wolf.
The theme is the same as the original. Most symbols are the same as the original, with some changes to some. It also features wild and scatter symbols.
The game comes with 6 reels, which can have a maximum of 7 symbols. And a row of four symbols on top of reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Giving the possibility of 117,649 ways in total.
It also features cascading symbols, so winning symbols are removed and new symbols fall on top for the option of another win.
Piggy Wild Feature
Just like the original, this game comes with a special bonus featuring the piggies.
Every second tumble one of the three different piggy symbols will become wild for the remaining of the bought spin. You can have all three different piggy symbols become wild.
This feature resets after each spin.
Free Spins Feature
If you get three moon symbols you will trigger the free spins feature. You will be awarded with 11 free spins.
The multiplier will start at x1 and will increase by x1 after each winning tumble.
But there is more. During free spins you will collect each moon that appears. If you collect enough you will be awarded with extra spins and more multipliers.
- Collect 3 and receive 3 extra free spins and add x5 to the current multiplier
- Collect 6 and receive 3 extra free spins and add x10 to the current multiplier
- Each scatter after the first six will add +1 spin

Verdict
I think Quickspin did an amazing job with this new version. We see a lot of Megaways versions of regular slot games. Some work great, some not so much. Big Bad Wolf Megaways works great!
The game is still very familiar and doesn’t even seem to have changed that much. But because of the Megaways, extra wild symbols and increasing multipliers during free spins, this Megaways version can pay out much, much more than the original.
Somehow it all feels like a small upgrade, but this version is so much more fun.
Big Bad Wolf Megaways is an excellent Megaways version of an original game and a must play!
