Relax Gaming has released a nice new slot game that sets you onto a nice beach with a delicious fruit smoothie. The game is called Blender Blitz.
Blender Blitz uses 5 reels which are each 3 symbols high and comes with 243 ways instead of lines.
You will find all sorts of fruits, like cherries, pineapples and mangos, which are the low and medium paying symbols. But also a pitcher, ice cube tray and of course a blender, which are the high paying symbols.
The game also features wild symbols which can appear on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4. And during the base game you can get a special knife symbol on reel 5.
Blender Blitz also uses cascading symbols. Meaning that all winning symbols are removed and new symbols fall on top, giving the option for another win.
The maximum payout of Blender Blitz is a huge 25.000 times your bet.
Blender Blitz Features
Symbol Removal
During the base games and during free spins all winning symbols are removed from the reels. But the low and medium paying symbols are also collected on the right in separate meters.
Whenever you have collected 10 of the same symbols, that symbol is removed from the reels and doesn’t appear anymore during that bought spin.
The meters are reset when you buy a new spin.
Eliminator Symbol
During any base spin a knife symbol might appear on reel 5. This symbol will remove one low or medium symbol from the reels completely (filling that meter) and will also remove all symbols from the reels, which are then collected in their meters.
Wild Symbols
Wild symbols appear on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4 during the base game and free spins feature. When a wild symbol is not used in a winning combination, the wild and all surrounding symbols are removed and collected into the meters.
Free Spins Feature
When you have collected at least 15 low to medium paying symbols you are awarded with the free spins feature. The collected progression of the meters transfers into the free spins.
You aren’t awarded a specific number of free spins, but you will receive 5 lives.
During free spins the meters on the right will not reset between free spins.
If you manage to remove all fruit symbols, low or medium paying symbols, you are awarded with 1 Super Spin after you run out of lives.
This is one spin with a guaranteed win and a multiplier of between 10x and 500x.
Lives are lost when you get non winning spins. But on reel 5 you can now get a symbol that award 1, 2, or 3 extra lives.
Verdict
Blender Blitz is a pretty cool slot game. The theme is excellent for the summer. It might not be that special, but I always like these types of mellow themes.
It’s also nice that the game is 243 ways and using cascading symbols. But I especially like the symbol removal. Of course it can happen during the base game, which can result in some nice wins. But during the free spins a lot of them can be removed. This can result in big wins when you are only left with the high paying symbols. And of course awards you that Super Spin. Where you can even get a win with a 500x multiplier. Huge!
I’m guessing this game will become very popular, especially amongst real slot lovers that aren’t scared of a highly volatile slot
