Lost Island slot game by NetEnt was released on 2014 and felt like a very cool, interesting game when it was released.
The game offered 5 reels with 3 symbols each and 20 paylines. It used, sort of an Aztec theme. With standard card symbols, weird looking things and wild flowers on all reels,
During normal play any 2 or more wild symbols anywhere on-screen would increase the multiplier. From x1, to x2, x3, x4 and finally x5 is there are 5 wilds on screen.
If you landed 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols anywhere you would be awarded with 10, 20 and even 30 free spins. During free spins the middle symbol on reel 3 would become wild and stay wild. And other wild symbols now appear single, double stacked and even triple stacked. This way the multiplier could go up much faster and you could get much higher wins.
Free spins could also retrigger during the feature.
I’m not sure, but I believe the game was discontinued in 2018. Again for the lack of interest by players. Which of course happens a lot with games after a couple of years.
Lost Island was a pretty cool game, especially when it came out. It also looked very good.
