Moon Princess Trinity Overview
Play’n Go has redesigned their very popular slot game Moon Princess from back in 2017, again.
The game pretty much looks the same as the original and 100 version and also uses much of the same features and bonuses. It seems like they just scrambled things around a bit to make a somewhat different games.
You will find a grid of 5 by 5 symbols. Winning combinations consists of 3, 4 or 5 of the same symbols horizontally or vertically. No matter where on the grid.
Winning symbols are removed and all other symbols fall down. No new symbols fall on top like with most of these cascading games. But you can of course can get new wins within the same spin.
Moon Princess Trinity comes with a maximum payout of 4.000 times your bet.
Moon Princess Trinity Features
When a winning combination of exactly three symbols is removed, the middle symbol will leave behind a wild symbol.
Random spots of the grid will have a light blue glow. When you get a winning combination on top of one of those spots, the multiplier is increased by x1.
On any non winning spin the active princess might become active and trigger a random feature.
- Love – will change all of the same symbol into another random symbol
- Star – will add 1 or 2 random wild symbols to the grid
- Storm – All of two different symbols are removed from the grid
Next to the grid you will find a meter that consists of six parts. Any winning combination of 3, 4 or 5 princess symbols will fill the meter with 1, 2 or 3 spots respectively.
When you fill the meter you will get one Trinity Spin. During this spin all three girls will release their power during the spin. If you manage to clear the screen (wilds don’t have to be removed), you get another Trinity Spin. Until you don’t manage to clear the screen during a Trinity Spin, the feature keeps going.
Multipliers won’t reset during these Trinity Spins.
When you are familiar with the original Moon Princess, you will see a lot of similarities, but also some differences.
The princesses still give the same features on non-winning spins during any base spin. And the wilds and cascading is also the same.
The main difference is the fact that Free Spins have been removed and now have been replaced by 1 Trinity Spin. You now need to fill 6 spots on the meter to trigger. And not clearing the grid like normally.
I’m not sure if I like this. I prefer the free spins, but I would also understand that this way is more interesting for some.
The one thing that is a bit of a letdown is the fact that maximum payout has been reduced to only 4.000 times bet. The original had 5.000 times bet and the 100 version even 15.000 times bet.
I think that if you’re a fan of these games, you will also really like this Trinity version. If you don’t like the original, this one is too similar to change your mind.
