Eternal Duel – Overview
Hacksaw Gaming released a new online slot game revolving around two fighting Gods and brothers, Zeus and Hades, called Eternal Duel.
Zues, the ruler of the sky, or normal world against Hades, the ruler of the underworld. So, the name makes sense, since the rivalry is never ending.
As with most Hacksaw Gaming slots, it looks amazing and comes with a sort of comic type look. Where both gods are set besides the reels with a lot of blue and red, representing each God.
The game uses 5 reels that are 5 symbols high and comes with 19 paylines.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying mythical items, you will also find wild symbols on all reels. Scatter symbols can also appear on each reel. And lastly the same goes for special VS symbols, which can trigger a duel between the gods.
Eternal Duel comes with a very nice maximum payout of 15.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

Duelreels
When one or more VS symbols land, they will expand and become a wild when they can become part of a winning combination. This will also trigger a fight between Zeus en Hades to determine a random multiplier of between x2 and x100, which applies to all wins using the wild symbol. If more than one of these wilds are used, the multiplier are added together.
Free Spins Features
When 3 or more scatter symbols appear, they will each reveal between 2 and 10 free spins. After this the number of scatters that triggered the bonus will determine which bonus is played. It is also possible to reveal an upgrade symbol, which will award the next level of free spins. So for instance, 3 scatters, with an upgrade, will award the 4 scatter bonus.
- Hades Havoc – 3 scatter symbols – minimum of 6 free spins – During this bonus a multiplier will appear above and below each reel. Whenever the Duelreels feature is triggered, the multipliers on the top and the bottom are used and one of them will win. During these spins there are special symbols that can land that will increase or multiply the values of the multipliers. If they land on the top 2 rows, it is added to the top, if it lands on the bottom 2 rows, it is added to the bottom. If landing on the middle row, both values will increase. The maximum multiplier is 999x. Any Scatter symbols landing will award between 2 and 10 extra free spins, but can also upgrade the bonus.
- Zeus Fury – 4 scatter symbols – minimum of 8 free spins – Uses the same features as Hades Havoc, but normal wild symbols will also receive the active multipliers, depending on where on the reels they land.
- Eternal Destruction – 5 scatter symbols – minimum of 10 free spins – Uses the same features as Zeus Fury, but guarantees at least 1 special symbol, 1 wild and 1 Duelreel during each spin.
Bonus Buy
Eternal Duel offers several bonus buy options. For 3x the bet you can activate a 5 times higher chance of triggering the bonus. 50x the bet will guarantee you to land at least 1 Duelreel symbol. For 1.000x bet you are guaranteed to land Duelreel symbols on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4, but reel 5 might also come with empty spots, together with normal paying symbols. For 80x the bet you can buy Hades Havoc and for 300x the bet you can buy Zeus Fury. Eternal Destruction isn’t available to buy.
Verdict
Eternal Duel comes with a very nice theme and great graphics. And the theme works very well with all the features.
And those features are what keeps you playing. During these base game and three free spins features, this game keeps you interested and engaged. Which is very well done, but also something Hacksaw Gaming is very good add.
