2026 is the year of the horse in the Chinese zodiac, especially the fire horse. So Pragmatic Play decided to create a new slot game using that as their theme in a series they have been releasing for a while now. Floating Dragon – Wild Horses is I believe their sixth release within the Floating Dragon series. Of which I have reviewed many.
But, as with a lot of these types of slots from Pragmatic Play, this one is a direct clone of another one of their titles, namely Big Bass Boxing Bonus Round.
You will find all the symbols you are familiar with from Floating Dragon slots, but now with a cool background of a fire horse.
The game uses 5 reels which are each 3 symbols high and comes with 10 paylines.
You will find normal low paying card symbols and different medium and high paying Asian themed symbols. There are also special coin symbols, which can appear stacked on all reels and come with cash values. Wild symbols only appear during the free spins feature. Scatter symbols can appear on all reels.
Floating Dragon – Wild Horses has a maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

3, 4 and 5 scatter symbols will award 15, 20 and 25 free spins respectively. During normal spins, when 2 scatters appear, there is a chance you get a re-spin, for the chance to land the third scatter.
During free spins you will now find two different wild symbols, a lady and a horse. Each with their own meters,
Each wild that appears is collected into their respective meter. Every 4th collected from either the girl or the horse will add 10 more free spins and also increase the multiplier of that wild by x2, x3 and finally x10.
Wild symbols collect all values of all coins that land together on the reels and the multiplier only applies to these values.
When there are coins but no wilds, or wilds but no coins, a random features might occur adding the thing that you are missing.

You also have the option to buy the free spins feature for 100 times your bet. Or super free spins for 300 times bet. Super free spins use steps of 3 instead of 4 for the meters.
Verdict
The game looks OK, but does look almost identical as the other Floating Dragon slots.
The gameplay, well that’s a clone. So nothing new here. But I do really like the two different paths during free spins. Makes for some more excitement than a standard Big Bass or Floating Dragon slot game.
I think it’s more that you have another version in their series, than really innovating anything. And of course, the theme works very well during this year of the horse.
