Last year Pragmatic Play released a slot game called Lucky’s Wild Pub. And now, almost a year later they have released Lucky’s Wild Pub 2. But is this sequel worth your time let’s find out.
The theme of the game has almost stayed exactly the same. An Irish theme set in a pub. So expect leprechauns, clovers and of course beer.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 25 lines.
Besides low paying card symbols you will also find medium and high paying Irish themed symbols. Wild symbols also appear on all reels except the first reel and can appear stacked.
Then there are three differently colored clovers, which can appear on all reels. These are the bonus symbols and will be explained below.
Lucky’s Wild Pub 2 comes with a higher maximum payout than the original, namely 15.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Pot Re-spin Feature
As I mentioned above, there are three differently colored pots of gold on top of the reels and colored clovers that can appear on the reels. These clovers come with cash values of between 0,6 and 30 times bet, or one of the jackpot amounts. Each time one or more of these clovers land, they are collected on top of the reels in the corresponding pot. The three pots on top of the reels can randomly trigger, awarding a Hold and Re-spin feature.
Only coins appear during these spins and each coin that appears is held, resetting the number of spins.
One color can trigger, two colors or all three. Combining the features together.
- Purple – Splits the reels into four zones. Each zone will receive a random multiplier of between x2 and x100. When a zone is filled with coins the multiplier is applied to the values of the coins within the zone.
- Red – You will play with 2 reel sets instead of 1
- Green – You will play with 4 re-spins instead of 3
Buy Bonus
For 100 times your bet you can buy Pot Re-spins with the purple feature active and a chance for 1 or 2 extra features. For 500 times bet you can buy Pot Re-spins with the purple feature active, but with at least 1 zone having the guaranteed 100x multiplier. There is again a chance that 1 or 2 extra feature also are activated.
Verdict
To be honest there really isn’t a lot of difference from the original, especially theme-wise. It’s even hard to tell them apart in my opinion.
Bonuses are a little different from the original. At least one of them, the rest are the same. The only difference is the multipliers. And a bigger maximum win.
But that seems to be it.
For me, this is another one of those slots where I’m like, why has this been released? For me it doesn’t really add anything of value.
But, I know these types of games are popular. And this one does pay more and is slightly different. So maybe there are enough players that will enjoy this sequel.
