Pragmatic Play has released a new online slot game called Majestic Express Gold Run. A slot game with a sort of mining and train theme.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 4 symbols high and uses 25 paylines.
Besides low paying card symbols there are also high paying mining items symbols. Scatter symbols can appear on reels 1, 3 and 5. Wild symbols can land on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4 only. Then there are golden nuggets on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4, trains in different colors on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4 and lastly a vault and a whistle symbol, which can appear on reels 5.
Majestic Express Gold Run comes with a very big maximum payout of 20.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Money Collection Feature
Nuggets, or Money Symbols, come with a value of between x1 and x15 value.
Then there are 4 different trains that, when collected, will run across the top of the reels and award several values of between x1 and x20 times bet. Or one of the jackpot amounts.
On reel 5 a vault can appear which is the collect symbol, or a whistle, which is the super collect symbol.
Whenever a collect or super collect symbol appears, all money and/or train values are awarded.
When a super collect lands together with train symbols, after the train awarded all values, a golden train will appear, where all carts have a x1 multiplier. The total collected is then multiplied by the total value of the earlier train.
Free Spins Feature
Getting all three scatter will award 10 free spins. With all the same rules and features. You can’t win extra free spins.
Bonus Buy
For 100 times your can instantly buy a collection bonus, this will award a collect or super collect and at least 2 trains.
Verdict
The game comes across as more than it is in my opinion. It’s basically just a slot with a collection bonus. With some added bits and bobs, but that’s it.
Why they added the free spins feature as it is, I have no idea. It’s nothing special, it doesn’t add anything and can’t even retrigger.
Overall it’s a fine game and I’m sure players will enjoy it. But overall it just doesn’t impress.
