Bullion Xpress – Overview
Play’n Go has released a new online slot games called Bullion Xpress.
A bullion is a bar of gold, silver or even coins made from precious metals. Hence the name. Since the theme is revolving around a train riding along, what seems to be North America, transporting precious gold, silver and other valuables.
You will find 6 reels that are 3 symbols high, but the game only uses 10 paylines somehow.
Besides low paying suits symbols you will also find medium to high paying luxury items like a gold bullion and more. There are also wild symbols appearing on all reels. And trains are the scatter symbols, and can appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Bullion Xpress comes with a maximum payout of 6.000 times bet and is a medium to high volatile slot.
Features
M-Counter
All regular paying symbols can appear with a multiplier of between x2 and x25 attached to them. All these multipliers are collected when they appear and added to the M-counter on the right of the reels. That total multiplier is applied to all winning combinations for that spin and resets after that.
Fortune Frenzy
During each spin, train wagons will move across the top of the reels.
When a spin doesn’t have a winning combination, at random, there is a chance to trigger Fortune Frenzy.
The train stops moving and all values of the 4 wagons will be collected and paid. Any M-counter multiplier is also applied to these wins.
Bonus Blitz
3 or 4 scatter symbols will trigger the Bonus Blitz feature with 3 or 4 re-spins respectively.
This bonus is played on a different reel set. You now have 8 reels with a colored top row that shows multipliers or blank spots.
The top row will show multipliers of x1, x2, x3 and x5. The trains keep moving and each wagon or cart that has a multiplier beneath them will be collected and multiplied.
If you land on a respin symbol you are awarded extra re-spins, matching the multiplier.
The feature ends when you run out of re-spins.
Verdict
Bullion Xpress comes with a bit of a weird setup in my opinion. 6 reels, but only 10 lines seems to not match. But it is what it is.
The base game isn’t very interesting, even with those multipliers and the chance to trigger Fortune Frenzy. It gets a bit boring, fast. But I do enjoy the re-spins feature. It’s something a little bit different and it seemed that it can pay quite nice.
But overall Bullion Xpress isn’t a game that will make a big impact. And is probably one of those slots you forget about in a week or so.
