Hacksaw Gaming has released a new online slot game called Ultimate Slot of America. And they are referring to the USA, which is obviously clear from the theme.
A lot of red and blue and a giant eagle superhero next to the reels.
The game uses 5 reels that are 5 symbols high and comes with a bit of a weird number of paylines, namely 19.
Besides low paying card symbols you will also find medium to high paying USA themed symbols. Then there are also wild symbols, which are diamond and can appear on all reels. Scatter, or free spins symbols can also appear on all reels.
Ultimate Slot of America comes with a solid maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Liberty Gems and Freedom Spins
Liberty Gems are wild symbols and when one or more of these appear, you will trigger a Freedom Spin.
All wilds become sticky and you get a free re-spin, which will keep continuing as long as new wilds appear.
Wild also come with a random multiplier of between x1 and x10 and are added together when more than one is used in a winning combination.
Gem Clusters
When 4 or more wilds form a square of 2×2, 3×3, 4×4 or 5×5 in size, they create a gem cluster. A cluster can also grow in size when more wilds surround it.
There are two types of Gem Clusters than can appear. Normal clusters will add the multipliers together of all individual wilds together. An Epic cluster will then multiply that number with between x2 and x20.
Free Spins Features
3 or more scatter symbols will trigger a free spins feature. Depending on the number of scatters that triggered the feature, you will play a different free spins feature.
- Spin-dependence day – 3 scatter symbols – 10 free spins with an increased chance of landing wilds – 2 or 3 scatters during free spins will add 2 and 4 extra free spins
- Red, White, Bling! – 4 scatter symbols – 10 free spins with all wild symbols appearing becoming sticky wilds but they will not trigger Freedom spins
- Pursuit of Riches – 5 scatter symbols – 10 free spins which are the same as Spin-dependence day spins, but at least 5 wilds will appear during each new free spin (not counting additional from Freedom Spins)
Bonus Buy
Ultimate Slot of America offers several bonus buy options. For 3x the bet you can activate a 5 times higher chance of triggering the bonus. For 25x the bet you are guaranteed to land at least 4 wild symbols. For 100x the bet you are guaranteed to land a Gem Cluster. And for 125x and 200x bet you can buy Spin-dependence day and Red, White, Bling! respectively.
Verdict
Ultimate Slot of America is a bit of an acquired taste I think. The USA isn’t that loved at the moment, at least not in the rest of the world, so interesting they went for this theme. But maybe they also meant it as a joke or ironically, who knows?
The game itself is a good game. It comes with those re-spins which appear pretty often and three different types of free spins, which are also enjoyable. Especially the 4 and 5 scatter ones of course.
And the game can pay out big for a medium volatile slot game. Which I also think is a nicely done.
