Pragmatic Play has released a new online slot game called Wheel of Happiness.
This game uses a pretty standard, Asian, theme. With several dragons, well-known colors like green and purple and other familiar theming.
You will find 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and the slot game comes with 243 ways instead of paylines.
There are also tumbling reels. Meaning that winning combinations are removed from the reels, all remaining symbols fall to the bottom and new symbols fall on top. Creating the option for several wins within the same spin.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying Asian themed symbols you will also find wild symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. Scatter symbols also appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 only.
Wheel of Happiness comes with a maximum payout of 4.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

Wheel Spin
Getting all three scatters at the same time will award a spin on the wheel, which can award the following:
- Wild Wins – After all tumbles, the entire screen is cleared and between 2 to 7 wilds are added to the next spin, guaranteeing at least one win
- Wild Wins+ – Works the same as Wild Wins but it will also receive a random multiplier of between x2 and x10
- Free Spins – Awards between 6 and 25 free spins
- Free Spins+ – Awards between 6 and 25 free spins and also a general multiplier of between x2 and x10 active during the spins
Free Spins Feature
If you managed to trigger free spins, landing 3 scatters symbols during free spins will also award a spin on the wheel.
If you land on Free Spins+ during free spins, it will add a multiplier of between x2 and x5 to the already active multiplier, if one is active.
Scatter symbols seem to land much more often during free spins.
Free spins and Free Spins+ will add a random number of extra free spins between 3 and 20.
Verdict
The theme is something we have seen a lot of times before. And if you’re not extremely into the Asian theme, it’s a forgettable theme to be honest.
The game itself is fine. The scatters seem to hit pretty often and it’s fun to spin the wheel and see what you get. Of course Free Spins+ is the best thing to trigger, since you get free spins, with a multiplier. But also, the game seems to retrigger a lot during free spins. Which adds to the fun of free spins.
It’s a shame the game comes with a low maximum payout. Well at least lower than normal with Pragmatic Play slots.
Overall it’s a fine game, but I am not sure it will impress a lot of players.
