Zeus Ze Zecond – Overview
Hacksaw Gaming released a new online slot game called Zeus Ze Zecond, which is a sequel to their Ze Zeus slot. But to make it a bit more confusing, is actually a clone of their Le Zeus slot, which was released a couple of months ago.
Instead of the comical raccoon, they now went with a more cartoon, anime style look and a more classic Zeus feel. With Zeus standing next to the reels, looking all mighty.
The game uses 6 reels that are 5 symbols high and comes with 19 paylines.
Besides low paying suits symbols and medium to high paying Greek symbols, you will also find scatter symbols on all reels. Wild symbols can also appear on all reels. And all normal paying symbols can appear stacked. There are also mystery symbols or reveal symbols on this slot game, more on those below.
Zeus Ze Zecond comes with a big maximum payout of 20.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Wonder Reveal
Reveal symbols can appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 and can appear stacked on these reels. All reveal symbols will all reveal one and the same symbol, which can be a high paying symbol, wild symbol or special coin symbols.
If the revealed symbols are part of a winning combination, it is paid and then all reveal symbols are held and the reels re-spin. And after this they will all reveal a new symbol. This continues until no new winning combinations are formed with the revealed symbols or if they are revealed into coins.
When the symbols reveal coins, they will re-spin and land on a bronze, silver or golden coin, diamond, clover or pot of gold. Coins instantly award a multiplier, so do diamonds. Clovers will multiply all adjacent coins with a random multiplier.
A pot of gold will collect all values and award a new re-spin of the coins.
Free Spins Features
3 or more scatter symbols will trigger a free spins feature. Depending on the number of scatters that triggered the feature, you will play a different free spins feature.
- Gates of Hades – 3 scatter symbols – 8 free spins with all the same features as the base game, but all reveal symbols become sticky until the end of the feature.
- Godly Ascension – 4 scatter symbols – 8 free spins with the same features as the base game and an added meter on the left where each new reveal symbol will add +1 to the meter. When the meter is full, after 25 reveal symbols, you will land a full screen of reveal symbols that will all reveal coins etc. After this the meter resets and you would be able to fill it again. Removing Bronze, silver and gold coins, each time it triggers.
- Zeus Unleashed – 5 scatter symbols – 8 free spins with the same features as Gates of Hades where reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 start with only reveal symbols and low paying symbols don’t appear.
Bonus Buy
Zeus Ze Zecond offers several bonus buy options. For 3x the bet you can activate a 5 times higher chance of triggering the bonus. 50x the bet will guarantee you to land at least 6 mystery symbols. For 80x the bet you can buy Gates of Hades and for 300x the bet you can buy Godly Ascension. Zeus Unleashed isn’t available as a bonus buy.
Verdict
Like I mentioned above, Zeus Ze Zecond is a clone of Le Zeus. Which was a game a very much enjoyed.
So no wonder I also like this game a lot.
And I guess this theme might appeal to different players that the Le Zeus version. Because it’s more, adult, maybe.
But, it’s not a new game and I’m not sure if it needed to be added.
