Bash Bros – Overview
Hacksaw Gaming released a new online slot game called Bash Bros. A game surrounding two brothers, Oskar and Fred that just like to bash things with their baseball bat. Yes, it’s that simple. But also makes for a fun and unique theme, so I’m not mad about it.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 4 symbols high and comes with 1024 ways instead of paylines. The game also features cascading symbols. So winning symbols are removed from the reels, all remaining symbols fall down into the empty spots and new symbols fall on top. Creating the option for several wins in a row, within the same spin.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying symbols like a lighter, bear trap and spray paint can you will also find scatter, or free spins symbols on all reels. There are no wilds on Bash Bros, but there are special Cash Stacks, that can also appear on all reels.
Bash Bros comes with a nice maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet and is a low volatile slot game.
Features
Cash Stacks and The Bashing Bros
When a special Cash symbol appears, it will expand to the top of the reels forming a Cash Stack. Each spot of the stack will reveal a multiplier of between x1 and x10.000 times.
There is also the randomly possibility that one of the brothers add a special feature. Oskar might smash the reels and removed between 1 and 4 symbols from a reel and drop in an additional Cash symbol. Fred might smash the reels and compress the cash symbols from a cash stack, adding more cash stack symbols.
After all features are done, you are awarded with the total multipliers times your bet.
Free Spins Features
Bash Bros, as many Hacksaw Gaming slots lately, comes with three different free spins features. Depending if you land 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols.
- 3 scatters – Bros Before Blows – 10 free spins with an increased chance of landing cash stacks. 2 or 3 scatter symbols will add 2 or 4 extra free spins respectively.
- 4 scatters – Cash Me Outside – 10 free spins with the same features as Bros Before Blows, but also a guaranteed smash from one of the brothers when a cash stack lands.
- 5 scatters – Reactor Riot – 10 free spins with the same features as Bros Before Blows, but also a guaranteed smash from either Oskar or Fred, depending if there are already cash stacks on the reels. This feature can’t award extra free spins.
Bonus Buys
Bash Bros offers several bonus buy options. For 3x the bet you can activate a 5 times higher chance of triggering the bonus. 50x the bet will guarantee you to land at least one Cash Stack. For 50 times bet you can buy 3 scatter symbols and for 200 times bet you are able to buy 4 scatter symbols. The 5 scatter bonus isn’t available to buy.
Verdict
Bash Bros is just another great new addition to Hacksaw Gaming’s library of games.
It’s maybe not as extensive as some recent titles, like The Wildwood Curse, but it does what it needs to do and does it in a fun package.
I also think it’s great it’s a low volatile slot game for a change that can still reward some big wins.
Overall just a solid new title of a provider that’s becoming more and more a favorite after each new release.
