I have to honest. I missed this new release from Relax Gaming. Mainly because I saw another “Book of” and thought I already knew the game.
And after noticing that the game was new, I thought, must be the same old thing again. I was wrong.
Book of Power is a release from Relax Gaming in cooperation with Casinogrounds, which is an online gambling community. And together they released a “Book of” slot that deserves the word power, because it is powered up to the max.
The game uses a pretty standard theme of an explorer in Egypt.
You will find 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and it uses 10 paylines.
Besides standard card symbols and Egyptian symbols there are also book symbols. This book counts as both wild and scatter.
Book of Power comes with a big maximum payout of 15.000 times your bet. Most “Book of” slots only go to 5.000.

Getting 2 books during free spins will randomly choose another expanding symbol and add 5 more free spins. If the randomly picked symbol is already active, it will receive a +1 multiplier. Up to a maximum of x9.
Power Free Spins Feature

Verdict
I have to say, they put a lot into this game. I’m not talking about the theme, which to be honest is way to basic and done way too many times now.
No, I’m talking about the gameplay. The base game is the standard “Book of” setup. 10 lines and a wild that is also a scatter. But the free spins have been upgraded with a lot of extras.
Even the base free spins are different that normal. Only 2 books needed for 5 extra spins and also an added symbol, or multiplier. Already great.
But those Power Spins make it even better with those golden reels and the symbol upgrades. Making it possible to get to the highest symbol fast. And also if activating all three golden reels, getting a win each and every spin.
These features have been seen before on other games. Added symbols and even those special golden reels. But not in the way this game does it. Adding it all together.
It makes for a very exciting game with a lot of options and huge win possibility of 15.000 times bet. Really a great “Book of” version.
