Pragmatic PLay released a new online slot game called Cash Box. This game doesn’t use a theme. And this is also going to be a rather short review.
You will find 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high. And all these reels are filled with grey safes.
The game doesn’t use lines or ways. It’s more of a scatter pays type pay.
After you spin the reel a random amount of safes will open. These will show either cash rewards, a free spins symbol or one of the three jackpot symbols. Get at least 3 of the same sort of symbols and you will be awarded.
Cash Box comes with a maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

Like I mentioned above, a random number of safes will be opened after each spin, sometimes none at all.
You need at least 3 of the same type of symbols to be rewarded. So for instance 3 cash symbols will award those cash amounts, 3 mini jackpot symbols will award the mini jackpot and 3 free spins symbols will award free spins.
Free Spins Feature
A maximum of 5 free spins symbols can be awarded during any spin. 3, 4 or 5 of these symbols will award 10, 15 and 20 free spins respectively.
During free spins different reel sets are used and more safes seem to be opened each spin.
3, 4 or 5 free spins symbols during free spins will add 10, 15 and 20 more free spins respectively.
Bonus Buy
Some casinos will offer the option to buy free spins for 100 times bet. This will award a minimum of 3 free spins symbols.
Verdict
For me personal, Cash Box is a boring game.
I don’t like the fact that there are no symbols, but just boxes or safes opening up. I don’t like the fact that a lot of times the cash rewards you do receive are very low, not even your bet. And I also don’t like that the free spins feature doesn’t do anything new.
Yes, it does open up more boxes and also seems to award higher rewards, but still, that’s not exciting.
I’m sure there are some players that enjoy this type of game and find it funny or quirky, but not me.
