The game uses a Cluster Pays system and wins are created when 4 or more matching symbols appear next to each other horizontally or vertically. Coin Symbols
Chunky Carlo’s Money Mania uses Coin symbols during the base game. When Coin symbols appear on the grid they are collected by Chunky Carlo and can also trigger an Instant Prize.
The Instant Prizes come in four different levels:

Minor – 10x the bet
Major – 25x the bet
Mega – 100x the bet
Collected Coins also count towards the Big Heist bonus feature, which can be triggered by collecting 6 or more Coins during a single game round.
Lighter Collection
Another feature in the base game is the Lighter Collection system.
Three different Lighter symbols can appear on the reels. Each color has its own progress meter and collecting 4 Lighters of the same color will activate the corresponding modifier.
- Red – Mob Hit removes symbols around a selected position and starts another cascade.
- Green – Magic Money transforms 3 to 5 random symbols into Wilds.
- Purple – Cancel removes all symbols of the most common symbol type on the grid.
The progress on the Lighter meters carries over between spins.
Big Heist Bonus
The main bonus feature in Chunky Carlo’s Money Mania is the Big Heist.
Collecting 6 or more Coin symbols during a single bought spin will trigger the Big Heist bonus.
The bonus starts with 3 re-spins and the grid contains Coins, Time Bomb symbols and blank spots. Coin symbols can land with values between 0.5x and 25x bet.
Every time a Coin or Time Bomb lands, re-spin are reset back to 3. The Coin and Time Bombs symbols remain on the reels until the end of the feature.
When there are no more re-spins, each Time Bomb symbol will explode. The bombs award a random multiplier of between x2 and x10, which is applied to any adjacent Coins. Coins can be multiplied by different bombs, increasing the value even more.
The final value of all Coins is then added together and awarded.
Verdict
Chunky Carlo’s Money Mania is another cluster pays slot Play’n GO. Which they are somewhat experts on. Play’n GO has a lot of very popular cluster pays slots.
The Big Heist is the main feature of the game and is a pretty basic Hold and Spin feature, but with the added bonus of those Time Bombs. Which seems to land pretty easy, so can really increase the win dramatically.
Which is a why the game comes with a huge 25.000x maximum win.
But overall, Chunky Carlo’s Money Mania, is also a bit boring to be honest. The lighters don’t really add anything very interesting, so base spins can become very dull, pretty fast. And I also don;t like the animations between spins, because they delay the next spin. And they seem to appear pretty often.
I know a lot of players will enjoy this game, if only for that huge maximum win potential. But for me, I rather play other Play’n GO titles.
