Crimson Castle – Overview
Here another short review, this time on Realtime Gaming’s (RTG) Crimson Castle slot game.
The game has been released in time for Halloween and comes with a dark theme. A crimson castle stands above the reels with bats flying around and different animals, with a creepy look, on the reels.
The game uses 5 reels which are each 3 symbols high and comes with 10 paylines.
You will find low paying card symbols and medium to high paying animal symbols. There are also wild symbols on all reels. Lastly there are golden coins and also a red moon as symbols. More on those below.
Crimson Castle comes with a maximum payout of 5.000 times bet and it’s a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Hold & Spin
Land 6 or more coins during base spins and you will trigger the Hold & Spin feature.
You will be awarded with 3 re-spins where the triggering coins stay on the reels. Only coins, red moons and blank spots can land. Each time a new symbol lands, re-spins are reset back to 3.
During re-spins a Red Moon can also land, this will take the value of all other symbols on the reels. And jackpots can also hit during Hold & Spin.
Lastly, between spins, at random, multiplier can be added to certain spots. Any coins landing on those spots will be multiplied.
The feature ends when you run out of spins or fill the entire reels.
Bonus Buy
For 35x bet you can buy the Hold & Spin feature.
Verdict
To be honest, Crimson Castle is a pretty basic slot game. It doesn’t offer anything we haven’t seen before.
It’s a basic Hold & Spin slot game, with the added additions of those red moons and multipliers.
But it’s not a bad game. I like the theme, I like the big symbols and I think it’s a decent Hold & Spin slot game. It’s also not bad that bonus buy is that cheap.
Overall Crimson Castle won’t impress a lot of players. But it’s still an enjoyable game.
