Big Time Gaming is best-known for their Megaways games. But they also created something they call Megaclusters. We’ve already seen this mechanism on games like Star Cluster and Cyberslot.
And now they added a new game in that series called Diamond Fruits.
Like the title says, this game comes with all sorts of fruit symbols like lemons and watermelons, but also a diamond (which has been used in several Big Time Gaming slots) and wild symbols.
How the Megaclusters mechanism works on this game is a bit hard to explain, I will try, but when playing the game you will find out very fast.
The game plays on a grid of 5×5 blocks where between 7 to 25 spots can have symbols on them. These are single large symbols, or 4 small symbols that fit into one large space.
Any combination of 5 or more of the symbols, horizontally or vertically connected, count as a winning combination. Winning combinations are removed and new symbols come in from the top, right, bottom and right of the screen, moving all symbols to the middle and adding new symbols on the outside. This is called a reaction.
When large symbols are removed they are always replaced by 4 small symbols after a reaction.

This bonus is active during normal spins and free spins feature.
After 3 reaction between 5 and 15 wild symbols are randomly added to the grid.
Free Spins Feature
Get 7 reactions in a row to trigger 8 free spins. For every reaction above the 7 you will get 1 more free spin.
During free spins a multiplier starts at x1 and will increase by x1 after every reaction. With no limit.
Getting 7 reactions in a row during free spins will add 3 more free spins and 1 more for every reaction after.
Verdict
If you know Big Time Gaming slots you will see the game is both pretty unique, but also familiar. It uses a pretty fun way to trigger reactions, with symbols coming in from all sides. And getting several reactions in a row to trigger the bonus is something we’ve seen on a game like Spicy Meatballs Megaways. I personally prefer scatter symbols more, but that’s just my opinion.
The free spins feature with the increasing multiplier is something a lot of Megaways slots do. And I like it that they added it to this Megaclusters game. And this can really reward some huge prizes. Adding those random wilds after three reactions is also great and almost always guarantees a winning combination.
I like this game. It looks nice, even though it’s a basic fruits themed game. They did it right here. And I also like the features a lot.
The maximum win is 6.650 times the bet. This is on the lower side for a Big Time Gaming slot. But this game is also less volatile than most other games from this provider.
