Realtime Gaming (RTG) has released a new online slot game called Fú Lóng Treasures.
Fú Lóng stands for Fortune Dragon in Chinese. So no wonder there are three brightly colored dragons in this game. But for the main part it’s a pretty standard Chinese themed slot with all the symbols and theming you might expect.
The game uses 5 reels which are each 3 symbols high and comes with 25 paylines.
You will find low paying card symbols and medium to high paying “Chinese” themed symbols like a peacock and a mandarin. Wild symbols are also present and can appear on all reels. Then we have three three differently colored coins that can appear on all reels and also correspond with the three trees on top of the reels.
Fú Lóng Treasures comes with a low maximum payout of 2.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Each time a colored coin lands, it is collected by the corresponding tree on top of the reels. At random one of these three features can trigger when its corresponding token is collected. The bonus can also trigger by getting three of the same colored coins at the same time.
- Green – Dragon Re-spins – You are awarded with 3 re-spins where only blank spots and coins appear. These spins are played on a reel set that is 5 symbols high. Each time a new coin appears, the re-spins are reset back to 3. Feature ends when you run out of spins or fill all symbols on the reels. After this you are paid the total value of all coins.
- Purple – Fortune Pick – Pick treasure chests to reveal one of the jackpots. As soon as you match three of the same, the corresponding jackpot is awarded.
- Red – Golden Harvest – You are awarded with 8 free spins. Each time you get 3 red coins you are awarded with 3 more free spins. The other two features can also trigger during this feature when their respective coins appear.
Bonus Buy
For 16x bet you can buy Golden Harvest. For 36x bet you can buy Dragon Re-spins. The Fortune Pick bonus isn’t available as bonus buy.
Verdict
Fo be honest Fú Lóng Treasures is a but of a basic game. It looks very nice, but the gameplay and features are very basic and really don’t offer anything new or anything special.
The low maximum win of only 2.000 times bet also doesn’t help.
I will give it one plus and that’s the fact that features seem to trigger quite often on this game. Which is a nice thing.
So if you are looking for basic, medium volatile slot game and maybe really like the theme, give Fú Lóng Treasures a try. If not, maybe skip this one.
