It’s time for a new online slot release by Push Gaming. And this time they went with a mountain goat theme with a game called Goat Getter.
The game looks very nice. Reels are set inside a huge rock or mountain with colorful, cartoon like trees around it.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 6 symbols high and uses a scatter pays mechanism. Meaning that 6 or more of the same symbols, anywhere on the reels, count as a winning combination.
Besides being a scatter pays game, it also comes with cascading symbols. All winning symbols are removed from the reels and the remaining symbols fall down. New symbols fall on top creating the option for another win. This keeps repeating until no new winning combinations appear.
For symbols you will find low paying suits symbols and medium to high paying gems, eggs and chests symbols. There are also Coin Pot symbols with cash values, more on those later. And big bonus symbols which can also appear on all reels. Wild symbols don’t appear on this game.

Goat Getter Features
Coin Drop Feature
Special Coin Pot symbols can appear on all reels and have an cash value. Whenever 6 or more of these symbols appear and no more normal wins happen, the Coin Drop Feature is triggered.
6, 7, 8 or 9 Coin Pot symbols on screen will award 0,5x, 1x, 2x and 4x the bet, respectively. If 10 or more Coin Pot symbols are on screen, the cash values on the pots are awarded. These are between 0,5 and 1.000 times bet.
When triggering the feature, all normal symbols are removed and only Cash Pot and Bonus symbols stay on the reels. Now the rest of the reels fill with mystery boxes and will reveal a rock, Coin Pot or Bonus symbol. This keeps happening as long as you receive at least 1 new Coin Pot or Bonus symbol. After this you are paid all awards from the Coin Pot symbols when you have more than 10 symbols.
If you trigger the Coin Pot Feature during free spins the mystery boxes can now reveal a Goat instead of a Bonus symbol.
Free Spins Feature
3 or more bonus symbols will award the free spins feature.
- 3 bonus symbols award between 6 and 12 free spins
- 4 bonus symbols award between 10 and 16 free spins
- 5 bonus symbols award between 14 and 16 free spins
During free spins you can now get a Goat symbol instead of Bonus symbols. Each Goat that appears will collect all values of any Cash Pots on screen and pay them out. After this each Goat is collected into a meter on the right.
This meter comes with 4 levels and each time you collected 5 goats, you will go up a level, awarding 5 more free spins and increase the Goat multiplier from x1 to x2, x3, x5 and x10. This multiplier applies to all Cash Pot values collected by goats.
Bonus Buy
You are able to but the free spins bonus instantly. For 100, 200 and 400 times bet you will trigger the free spins with 3, 4 and 5 bonus symbols, respectively. For 175 times bet you trigger the bonus with a random number of 3, 4 or 5 bonus symbols.
Verdict
Goat Getter really feels like a Push Gaming title and for me that’s a good thing. I like it when I instantly recognize a provider.
The game offers a lot of great features into one fun looking game. Cascading symbols, Coin Pot collection feature and of course those great free spins with the goats. I really enjoy this game. It’s a lot of fun and can award great prizes.
