This game became one of their flagship slots and Gonzo is probably one of the most iconic slots characters out there. Expanding reels and Avalanches
Like the original, Gonzo’s Quest 2 comes with the famous Avalanche Feature. Meaning winning symbols are removed from the reels and new symbols then fall on top, to create the option for another win.
On top of this, after each avalanche the reels will grow by 1 row, up to a maximum of 8 rows in total. Awarding the maximum of 262.144 ways when all are active.
Each avalanche will also increase a general multiplier by x1 up to a maximum of x5.
When no more new winning avalanches occur, the reels and the multiplier are reset.
Calamity Wilds
Besides the normal wild symbols you can also land a Calamity Wild. When this wild is part of a winning combination, the winning symbols are removed and then the wild will add between 3 and 6 random wild symbols to the reels.
These wilds are never placed on top of scatters or other wilds. But can be placed on colossal symbols, awarding a colossal wild.
Free Spins and Super Free Features
3, 4, 5 or 6 scatter symbol landing from left to right, starting on reel 1, will award 10, 12, 15 and 20 free spins respectively.
During free spins, when reels grow, they are not reset between free spins.
The general multiplier starts on x2 during free spins and goes up by x2 after each avalanche, with no limit. But is reset between free spins when on normal free spins.
3 or more scatters from left to right will add the same number of extra free spins as normal. But normal free spins can also become Super Free Spins. If one of the scatters is a colossal scatter, it will always become super free spins.
When triggering the free spins with a colossal scatter, you will instantly trigger super free spins. During super free spins the multiplier doesn’t reset between spins.
