It’s time for a short little slot review of Endorphina’s latest released called Groovin’ Tiger.
Groovin’ Tiger comes with what seems a Brazilian tiger theme. Where the tiger is laying in his hammock in the middle of a colorful street. And the reels are set on his van.
The game uses 5 reels which are each 3 symbols high and comes with 10 paylines.
You will find low paying card symbols and medium to high paying items worn by that cheeky tiger. There are no wild symbols during base spins and also no normal scatters or bonus symbols. There are three colored coins that can appear on top of normal paying symbols and will correspond with the three bucket hats on top.
I can’t seem to find the maximum payout of this slot game, but I am guessing it is quite high, since you can get 100x multipliers.
Features
Re-spins
Each time a colored coin lands, it is collected by the corresponding hats on top of the reels. At random one of these hats can become active and award the re-spin feature.
The reel of the activated hat becomes wild and you start with a x1 multiplier. The reels will spin and each time there is no win, the multiplier will go up by x1. This keeps continuing until you get a winning combination. After this the feature ends.
Multiplier can go up to a maximum of 100x. Only one reel can be active during the feature.
Bonus Buy
For 56x bet you can buy the Re-spins feature, which will award a random reel.
Verdict
If you are a little familiar with Endorphina you might recognize the bonus from a very early release of them, Minotauros.
That game also has a wild reel and an increasing multiplier after a non winning spin.
The only difference is the fact that this game uses a 3-pot mechanism to randomly award the bonus. And the other one needed you to land the full reel during normal play.
To be honest, both games are fine. But I like the theme of Groovin’ Tiger better. It’s more colorful.
It’s a pretty simple slot game, but those re-spins can award big when you get non winning spin after non winning spin.
Overall it’s a fun slot game and I would give it a try.
