Heist for the Golden Nuggets Overview
It’s time for a new release from Pragmatic Play. And this time the game is called Heist for the Golden Nugget. A bit of a mouth full for a pretty basic game, in my opinion.
They went with a gold mining theme this time, a theme we’ve seen many times before, but which always seems to work well.
You will find 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and the game comes with 20 lines.
Besides regular card symbols and different characters, you will also find wild symbols on all reels. There are also special golden nugget symbols that can appear stacked on reels 1, 3 and 5.
Heist for the Golden Nugget comes with a maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet.

Multiplier wilds
Wild symbols appear on all reels. When more than one is used in a winning combination, a multiplier is applied. 2 3, 4 or 5 wild symbols in a winning combination will multiply your winnings by x2, x4, x8 and x16 respectively.
Money Symbols
Golden nugget symbols appear on reels 1, 3 and 5 and come with a random value of between 0,5x and 250x times your bet. During any base spin, at random, a golden nugget can light up and the cash values are awarded.
Free Spins Feature
When you get at least 1 golden nugget symbol on reels 1, 3 and 5 at the same time, you will trigger 5 free spins.
Before free spins start all triggering golden nugget values are collected and added together into a meter on the left. Any golden nuggets appearing during free spins are also added to this total.
Also, a random character is selected that will now receive the total value of the meter. Each of these symbols landing during free spins will award the cash value of the meter.
Free spins can retrigger, the same way as you would trigger the bonus.
Bonus Buy
Some casinos have the option to buy the free spins feature for 75 times your bet.
Verdict
Somehow the title of this game let me to believe that it was some kind of multi level or multi bonus slot where I was going to find that golden nugget. That’s not the case. It’s a pretty basic mining themed game with features and bonuses we’ve seen before.
That’s not to say that it’s a bad game. It isn’t, it’s pretty fun. But not for long.
Somehow the game starts to become a bit samey after a while. Don’t know why, but that’s just what I experienced.
