Pragmatic Play released a new online slot game called Jackpot Blaze. And it’s one of those games that comes with a classic slot theme, so think fruits, sevens and bars. And as the name might suggest, the game revolves around several jackpot amounts to win.
The game uses 6 reels that are 5 symbols high and uses a scatter pays mechanism. Meaning that 8 or more of the same symbols, anywhere on the reels, count as a winning combination.
It also uses tumbles, or reactions. So winning symbols are removed from the reels and new symbols fall in from the top, creating the option for several wins within the same spin.
Besides low paying fruit symbols you will also find high paying slot symbols like crowns, sevens and bars. There are no wild symbols on this slot. There are scatter symbols on all reels and then we have jackpot symbols, which are mini, minor, major, grand and super grand. These symbols can also appear on all reels.

Jackpot wins
The game comes with 5 jackpot amounts which are on the right of the reels. You have the Mini, Minor, Major, Grand and Super Grand, which are worth 5x, 20x, 100x, 500x and 1.000x bet respectively.
During the base game, when one or more of these jackpot symbols land and there is also a winning combination on the reels, the jackpot symbol is collected. 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 are needed for the Mini, Minor, Major, Grand and Super Grand jackpot.
The jackpot symbols will not be removed, so if you get more winning combination because of tumbles, it can collect the jackpot symbol several times.
The collected symbols are reset when you buy a new spin.
Free Spins Feature
4, 5 and 6 scatter symbols will award 15, 20 and 25 free spins respectively.
During free spins the jackpot meters do not reset between spins and tumbles.
3, 4, 5 and 6 scatter symbols during free spins will add 15, 20, 25 and 30 extra free spins.
Bonus Buy
For 100 times your bet you are able to buy the free spins feature, which will award 4, 5 or 6 scatters.
For 500 times bet you can buy Super Free Spins. Where jackpot wins only need half of the symbols to win, so 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 symbols needed for the Mini, Minor, Major, Grand and Super Grand respectively.
Verdict
Overall Jackpot Blaze is a fine slot game. It comes with scatter pays and 5 different jackpot amounts. These jackpot are easier to win during free spins and also seem to hit quite often during these spins.
There is nothing exceptional special about this slot, but I do enjoy it.
The Super Free Spins are a nice added feature, but is also quite expensive.
