Push Gaming has released the perfect Halloween slot game called Tricky Treats.
A game with a haunted carnival theme with pretty cute little ghosts and pumpkins.
The game uses 6 reels that are each 9 symbols high and comes with a cluster pays mechanism. Five or more of the same symbols, that are horizontally and/or vertically connected, count as a winning combination. And there are also tumbles. So winning symbols are removed, all remaining symbols drop down and new symbols fall on top. Creating the option for several winnings tumbled within the same spin.
For symbols you will find 6 different types of cute ghosts. Then there are also wild symbols, which can appear on all reels and are pumpkins. Lastly there are coin symbols that come with a random cash values of between x1 to x1000 times bet. There are also special modifier symbols, which will be explained below.

Wild Symbols
All wild symbols that appear start with a multiplier of x1. But each time a wild is used within a winning cluster, the multiplier will go up by x1.
Wild Multiplier Symbols
Wild multiplier symbols can appear during both the base game and free spins. They come with a multiplier of between x1 and x5 and will increase all wilds on the reels with their multiplier. After this they will change into a coin symbol with a random value.
Instant Prize Multiplier Symbols
An Instant Prize Multiplier symbol can appear on all reels and comes with a multiplier of x2, x5 or x10. All coins on the screen will be multiplied by the multiplier on these symbols and after this will transform into a coin symbol with a random value.
Collector Feature
When the collector symbol appears, it will pick a random normal paying symbol, wild symbols or a coin symbol and will attract between 4 and 9 of those symbols around itself. Creating a winning cluster.
Free Spins Feature
3 wild symbols will trigger 6 free spins and any extra wild symbol will add 2 more free spins.
Any already active multipliers are transferred to the free spins.
During free spins only blank spots, coins, wilds, wild multiplier, instant prize multiplier, collector and extra free spins symbols can land.
All coins and wilds will become sticky. And any extra wild that appears will also add 2 more free spins.
After all free spins are done, the coins that form a cluster of 5 or more are paid.
Bonus Buy
For 120 times bet you are able to the free spins feature, awarding a minimum of 3 scatters. For 400 times bet you can but the Super Free Spins feature, this will also award a minimum of 3 scatters, but will also award a Wild Multiplier Symbol giving all wilds at least a x2 multiplier during free spins.
Verdict
Tricky Treats is a really cute and fun looking game.
And the bonuses are also a lot of fun. The game does remind me a lot of Jammin’ Jars, one of Push Gaming’s more popular slots. With the clusters and the wild multipliers. But that once does work a little different.
Free spins are also nicely done, although I do think you need those multiplier wilds to really get some big wins. But when they appear and clusters grow, it can become very exciting.
I think Tricky Treats is a great new title from Push Gaming and perfect for the Halloween season.
