Here is another new release from our favorite provider, NetEnt. And the game is called Let it Burn.
NetEnt went with a pretty standard gamble theme, if you can even call it a theme. It’s sevens, diamonds and fruit and the reels are set against some type of flames.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 4 symbols high during the base spins. And using 1024 ways, so all symbols pay from left to right, no matter where on the reels.
LIke I mentioned, you will find standard card symbols and symbols like sevens and diamonds. The diamonds are the highest paying symbols.
There are also wild symbols, but these can only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 and can only appear as rolling reels, which I will explain later. Scatter symbols can appear on all reels.
Let it Burn comes with a maximum payout of 2.700 times your bet. Which, to be honest, is low these days.

Rolling Reels
On reels 2, 3 and 4 you can get a symbol that they call a Rolling Reel. These are single symbols that act as a small slot and spin a new symbol each time they land.
These symbols can show any normal symbol except scatters, but also wild symbols.
A Rolling Reel start with a x1 multiplier and will move down one spot on the reel after each spin and the multiplier will increase by x1 after each move.
These symbols fall off the reel when they reached the bottom.
On these Rolling Reels wild symbols can also appear. And this can be normal or special wild symbols.
- Wild +3 – increases the Rolling Reel multiplier by x3
- Wild Up – moves the Rolling Reel to the top of the reel
- Wild Left – moves the Rolling Reel to the left instead of down
- Wild Right – moves the Rolling Reel to the right instead of down
Two Rolling Reels can also move into the same spot. When this happens the multipliers are added together and it becomes one Rolling Reel.
Free Spins Feature
3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will award 10, 15 and 20 free spins respectively.
During free spins an added row of symbols is added, increasing the number of ways to 3125.
You will also start with between 1 and 3 Rolling Reels added the reels at the start of the bonus.
2, 3, 4 and 5 scatter symbols during free spins will award 3, 5, 8 and 12 extra free spins.
Bonus Buy
For 100, 150 and 200 times bet you are able to buy 10, 15 and 20 free spins respectively.
Verdict
For me, Let it Burn, is a bit of a miss.
When you start the game you think, wow this looks amazing, comes with ways and those special Rolling Reels, this is going to be an exciting game.
But to be honest. Not that much. The Rolling Reels appear very often and become less special after some spins. During free spins, you do get more ways and if everything hits perfectly, you can get a nice win. But with a maximum payout of only 2.700 times your bet, it will never get really exciting.
And for me theme is also a bit basic. I know there are players out there that like these themes, I don’t.
But I also think there will be players that will enjoy Let it Spin. It is a pretty unique game. So as always, check it out for yourself and see.
