Play’n Go has released another Cat Wilde title. For players that don’t know, they have a Rich Wilde series of games, and now also a Cat Wilde. If this is his wife or sister, I have no idea.

This new title is called Cat Wilde in the Eclipse of the Sun God.

The game uses 20 lines on 5 reels, 3 symbols high. It comes with cool looking Incan-type symbols. It also offers wild symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4 and scatter symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5.

Cascading Symbols and Increasing multiplier

Cat Wilde in the Eclipse of the Sun God comes with cascading symbols. Meaning that any winning combination is removed and all symbols fall down. New symbols fall on top and you have the option for another winning combination.

Each time one of those cascades happens the multiplier will increase. It starts at x1 and will go to x2, x4, x6 and finally x10.

The multiplier resets to x1 when no new win appears.

Free Spins Feature

Getting 3 scatter symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 will award 10 free spins.

During free spins all multipliers start out the same, but now it also offers an extra level which is x70.

Each scatter symbol that appears during free spins is now also a wild symbol and will be collected. Collect 5 of them and you will receive 5 more free spins and the multipliers are doubled. However x70 will stay the highest possibility.

You can get a total of 40 free spins during this feature.

Verdict

If you are a little familiar with online slot games you might notice that this game feels a lot like Gonzo’s Quest by NetEnt. And it does. The cascading symbols and the increasing multiplier is the same. But the free spins feature is different. Collecting scatter symbols to get extra spins, which will also increase all multipliers is a very nice tough. And of course a maximum x70 multiplier is huge.

However, the maximum reward is 5000 times your bet. I am not sure if this is per spin, or per bonus game? But this isn’t that high, compared to other Play’n Go slot games. So maybe reaching that x70 multiplier isn’t as hard as it might seem at first.

Cat Wilde in the Eclipse of the Sun God is a high volatile slot game, so be aware of that.

I like the game. It does feel a lot like Gonzo’s Quest, but is different enough. And it keeps me interested while playing. I do suggest giving this one a try. You’ll find Cat Wilde in the Eclipse of the Sun God at almost any NetEnt casino.
