Relax Gaming has released a new online slot game called Immortal 5.
The game revolves around 5 superheroes, hence the name. The reels are set against a metropolis and it all comes with a bit of a neon look. To be honest, it’s all looks very nice!
You will find 5 reels that are each 4 symbols high and it comes with 15 lines.
Besides low paying suits symbols there are also 5 high paying heroes. Then there are immortal wild and hero wild symbols that can appear on all reels. And lastly silver and gold scatter symbols on reels 3, 4 and 5..
Immortal 5 comes with a solid maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Immortal Re-spins Feature
When one or more Immortal Wild symbols appear during the base game, you are awarded with a free re-spin. The wild symbol will expand and then become sticky. All other reels re-spin. When you land a new Immortal Wild, you get another re-spin, until no more new wilds appear.
Immortal 5 Wild Feature
At random during any normal spin the Immortal 5 Wild Feature can trigger. Between 1 and 5 reels will become highlighted and a highlighted reel will become wild. This can repeat up to 5 times, making all reels wild.
Immortal Silver Bonus Game
Getting three silver scatter symbols on reels 3, 4 and 5 will trigger the Immortal Silver Bonus Game.
You get to pick between two different types of free spins bonuses:
- Hero Mode 1 – Start with 6 free spins with a progressive multiplier that applies to all wins. The multiplier starts at x1 and increases each time a symbol with a multiplier lands. Landing an expanding Hero Wild symbol will also increase the multiplier.
- Hero Mode 2 – Start with 6 free spins where each spot on the reels comes with an own multiplier that doubles each time a win is formed on that spot. When an expanding Hero Wild appears, it will expand and collects the total multipliers on that reel, with the total becoming the Hero Wild multiplier. Wild symbols become sticky and stay on the reels until the end of the bonus.

- Extra Free Spins – 3 extra free spins
- Multiplier Boost – In Hero Mode 1, it increases the starting multiplier. In Hero Mode 2, one spot per reel starts with an increased multiplier

Verdict
When reading this review, I know it all seems a bit much, or maybe difficult to explain. And I can see that, I even had a bit of trouble making this review. But that’s why I also add a demo version below. Because when playing this game, it’s not that difficult.
You have expanding wilds, re-spins and two different free spins features. One just a little better than the other.
And I have to say, I like this game a lot. I think it looks very cool. But I am also a big fan of free spins feature with added extra’s bonuses which you pick before the free spins start.
And the base game and free spins are just a lot of fun and can pay out some great wins.
That buying that maximum pay bonus for 500 times bet is a bit of a weird thing for me. And personally I would never do that.
