Hacksaw Gaming released a new online slot game called Le Zeus. A game with an angry raccoon visiting Mount Olympus.
It’s a very comical themed slot game and the raccoon reminds me of those old Betty Boop cartoons somehow. The reels are set against Mount Olympus.
The game uses 6 reels that are 5 symbols high and comes with 19 paylines.
Besides low paying letter symbols and medium to high paying Greek symbols, you will also find scatter symbols on all reels. Wild symbols can also appear on all reels. And all normal paying symbols can appear stacked.

Le Zeus comes with a big maximum payout of 20.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Mystery Symbols
Mystery symbols can appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 and can appear stacked on these reels. All mystery symbols will all reveal one and the same symbol, which can be a high paying symbol, wild symbols or special coin symbols.
If the revealed symbols are part of a winning combination, it is paid and then all mystery symbols are held and the reels re-spin, revealing a new symbol. This continues until no winning combinations are formed with the revealed mystery symbols.
When the mystery symbols reveal coins, they will re-spin and land on a bronze, silver or golden coin, diamond, clover or pot of gold. Coins instantly award a multiplier, so do diamonds. Clovers will multiply all adjacent coins with a random multiplier.
A pot of gold will collect all values and award a new re-spin of the coins.
Free Spins Features
3 or more scatter symbols will trigger a free spins feature. Depending on the number of scatters that triggered the feature, you will play a different free spins feature.
- Bolt & Run – 3 scatter symbols – 8 free spins with all the same features as the base game, but all mystery symbols become sticky.
- Myth-taken Identity – 4 scatter symbols – 8 free spins with the same features as Bolt & Run but with an added meter on the right where each new mystery symbol will add +1 to the meter. When the meter is full, after 25 mystery symbols, you will land a full screen of mystery symbols that will all reveal the coins etc. After this the meter resets and you would be able to fill it again.
- Gods Just Wanna Have Fun – 5 scatter symbols – 8 free spins with the same features as Bolt & Run where reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 start with only mystery symbols and low paying symbols don’t appear.
Bonus Buy
Le Zeus offers several bonus buy options. For 3x the bet you can activate a 5 times higher chance of triggering the bonus. 50x the bet will guarantee you to land at least 6 mystery symbols. For 80x the bet you can buy Bolt & Run and for 300x the bet you can buy Myth-taken Identity. Gods Just Wanna Have Fun isn’t available as a bonus buy.
Verdict
Le Zeus is a very fun new game with some solid bonuses and big win potential. Especially for a medium volatile slot game.
I think the theme is funny and works well. And although the features aren’t something we haven’t seen before on other games, they work very well and are exciting.
Like all Hacksaw Gaming slots these days, you get three different bonuses depending on the number of scatters, also a nice touch.
Overall Le Zeus is a great game and I highly recommend giving it a try, together with some other recently released Hacksaw Gaming slots like Tiger Legends and Aiko and the Wind Spirit.
