Pink Elephants Trinity – Overview
All the way back in 2017, Thunderkick released a slot game called Pink Elephants. Which was a very cool slot game and was a popular title at the time. So popular it received a sequel in 2020. Now Thunderkick has added a third title to the series, called Pink Elephants Trinity.
This game feels very familiar, because it uses the same type of symbols as the earlier titles, all sorts of animals trying to reach something like Nirvana. With peanuts playing an important role. But gameplay has changed quite a bit. So let’s see what Pink Elephants Trinity has to offer.
You will find 6 reels that are each 4 symbols high and you play on 4096 ways instead of paylines.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying animal symbols, where the pink elephant is the highest paying one, you will also find peanut symbols on all reels. These are the scatter symbols. Wild symbols can only appear on the middle 4 reels, so not on reel 1 and 6.
Pink Elephants Trinity comes with a nice maximum payout of 14.400 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Mystery Feature
The Mystery Feature can trigger during base spins and during free spins.
During the base game up to 5 random scatters can be placed on the reels, awarding a 6th one on the leftover reel.
During free spins up to 3 random scatters can be added to the reels.
Free Spins Feature
3 or more scatter symbols will award 8 free spins. If you trigger the feature with 4 to 6 scatter symbols, you might already activate one of the levels.
During free spins all pink elephant symbols have peanuts on them. And normal peanuts (scatters) can also appear. If you get 2 normal scatters, all peanuts are doubled on screen, getting 3 normal scatters will triple all peanuts on screen.
There are a total of 6 levels and each time you collect enough peanuts you will move to the next level, each new level will also add 3 more free spins and activate another animal.
- Level 1 – starting level, same features as the base game.
- Level 2 – Panthera, will highlight any wild symbol that lands with a frame, if a new wild land on that same spot, it will become sticky.
- Level 3 – Jaguar, will add a random wild onto reels 2, 3, 4 or 5 before each spin, if that’s on a frame, it will instantly become a sticky wild.
- Level 4 – Bufo, will put a sticky peanut onto a sticky wild symbol.
- Level 5 – Monkey, the Panthera, Jaguar and Bufo features are no longer active, sticky wilds and peanuts stay and during each free spin the Mystery Feature is activated.
- Level 6 – End Game, Monkey and Mystery Feature are no longer active, an extra 7th reel is added in the middle, now awarding 16.384 ways. All sticky wilds become sticky Pink Elephant symbols. All peanuts are removed, and only pink elephants and blank spots appear during these spins.

Free spins can be bought. 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols can be bought for 150x, 300x and 600x times bet.
Verdict
Thunderkick made sure to not release another slot within this series that’s just the same old, same old. They have really switched things up this time.
Where the two earlier slots used to upgrade the animal symbols into pink elephants during free spins. This game gives more and better features. Like added wilds, sticky wilds and sticky scatters. But finally, on the last level, only pink elephants.
I think they made a great choice making the game different. But still keeping the very cool aesthetic of the game and even the collecting and upgrading mechanisms.
This way they made sure the game series is still relevant and still interesting.
Overall the game might, at first, come across a bit confusing during free spins. Like what exactly is happening. But once you know, it makes sense and the features are pretty cool.
I think Pink Elephants Trinity is a great new slot game by Thunderkick. Which is already one of my favorite providers.
