Pragmatic Play has released a new online slot game called Zeus vs Typhon.
We all know Zeus by now, the main God of Green mythology. And also the God of thunder. But I had to look up who Typhon is. Well it’s seems he was a serpent type God and one of the deadliest and mightiest of all. Who fought Zeus for control of the heavens. So now the title of this new slot game makes sense.
This new Greek themed slot uses two sides. The side of Zeus and the side of Typhon, which also plays out during gameplay. All wrapped within a very cool looking slot with both Gods on each of their sides.
The game uses 6 reels which are each 4 symbols high and 4096 ways instead of paylines. But the game pays both ways. The Zeus symbols, which are the more blue, light symbols, pay left to right. And the Typhon symbols, the more red, dark symbols, play right to left. So in fact you have two 4096 ways.
Besides normal paying symbols you will also find scatter symbols on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Wild symbols aren’t present on this game.
Zeus vs Typhon comes with a big maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

God Multipliers
During any spin, at random, multipliers of between x2 and x20 might be held by both Gods. Zeus’s multiplier applies to all wins from left to right and Typhon’s multiplier applies to all wins from right to left.
But if a spin has wins from both sides, the multiplier are added together and then applied to the wins.
Free Spins Feature
3 scatter symbols will award 10 free spins, 4 scatter symbols will award 15 free spins.
A random multiplier is active during every free spin.
Each scatter appearing during free spins will add 1 more free spin.

For 125x time bet you are able to buy the free spins feature. For 500x bet you are able to buy Super Free Spins. During Super Free Spins when a multiplier is used, it is added above the reels and each time a new multiplier is used, it will be added to the total. Each side has their own multiplier.

Verdict
Only a week ago Pragmatic Play released a game called Duel of Night & Day which also used two sides and ways that pay both ways. But to be honest, this one is a lot cooler looking and in my opinion also a better game.
I like the way the symbols pay and also the fact that you can get random multipliers. That even combine when you have wins from both sides.
Free spins don’t really offer anything extra, just the fact that you will always get a multiplier. But during those super free spins, which are unfortunately only able to buy, they increase and when you get a combined multiplier and both are high, this can make for some huge wins.
Overall I like this game a lot. I think it’s a great new addition for Pragmatic Play.
