Resurrecting Riches – Overview
Pragmatic Play released a new slot game called Resurrecting Riches.
This new game comes with a phoenix theme. The fabled bird that rises from the ashes. And always a nice looking theme to be honest. Reels are set against a huge treasure room with a lot of golden accents.
The game uses 6 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 729 ways instead of paylines. Meaning symbols adjacently, from left to right, starting on reel 1, no matter where on the reel.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying gems, you will also find egg symbols or money symbols on all reels except reel 5. On reel 5 the Phoenix can appear. And lastly there are also mystery symbols, when these symbols appear, they will all change into one and the same symbol which can also include money symbols. There are no wild symbols on this game.
Resurrecting Riches comes with a a maximum payout of 4.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Collect Feature
Eggs, or money symbols, can appear on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4. They come with a cash value of between x1 and x500 times bet or Bonus.
When the Phoenix appears on reel 5, it will collect all egg symbols present on the other reels.
Re-spin
During base spins, when 5 or more Egg symbols appear, but no Phoenix, you will get 1 free re-spin. During these re-spins only Egg and Phoenix symbols can appear. When the Phoenix lands, it will collect all eggs, like explained above.
Free Spins Feature
If an egg has the word Bonus on it and is collected during the Collect Feature, it will award 8, 10 or 12 free spins per bonus egg.
During free spins, all eggs that appear, will leave behind their value underneath the reels. And if a new egg lands on that same spot, it will be increased by the new value.
Each time the Phoenix lands with at least one new Egg symbol, all spots beneath the reels will also become an egg and reveal the value. Then the Phoenix will collect all values.
At least one Collect Feature is guaranteed during free spins. You can’t win extra free spins during this bonus.
Bonus Buy
For 80 times bet you are able to buy the free spins feature.
Verdict
Resurrection Riches is just another one of those Hold & Collect slot games. And there are already a lot of them out there.
So does this one stand out? No it doesn’t.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s an OK game. But it doesn’t really offer anything exciting or anything new.
I mean, if you really like these types of games, you will probably enjoy it. But then again, there are better ones out there, like most Big Bass slots by the same provider. And the maximum payout of 4.000 times bet also doesn’t make it any more interesting.
