Spinions Game Day Overview
Quickspin already released three other slot games using the Spinions characters. The original Spinions, Spinions Beach Party and a Christmas edition. Now it’s time for their fourth one, Spinions Game day. Where the little minion-like characters go and play football.
The game uses 5 reels that are 3 symbols high and comes with 25 lines.
You will find all sorts of football symbols together with standard card symbols. Of course the Spinions are still wild and appear on all reels. And you will have a golden cup that appears on reels 1, 3 and 5 only, which is the bonus symbol.
Spinions Game Day comes with a maximum payout of 3.717 times times your bet.
Spinions Game Day Features
Passing Wild Respins
When 2 or more wild symbols land on the reels at the same time you will trigger the Passing Wild Respins bonus.
All wild symbols will stay on the reels during the feature and you will get a free respin. The wilds will now move over the reels and pass a ball to each other and the one that gets the ball gets a +1 multiplier. After this all other symbols respin. If another wild symbol lands, it will happen again. Respins will keep continuing until no new wild symbols appear.
Game Day Free Spins
Get all three scatter symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 at the same time to trigger 10 free spins.
Any wild symbol appearing during free spins will stay on the reels. When you have at least 2, a football comes into play and this will be passed between wilds. Wild symbols getting the football receive a +1 multiplier. Basically it’s the same feature as the Passing Wild Respins, but now it will keep going for all free spins.
A scatter symbol now only appears on reel 5. When this appears you will be awarded with 5 more free spins.
Some casinos will offer the option to buy the free spins feature for 60 times your bet.
I am always a big fan of Quickspin slot games. But for me, Spinions Game Day is a bit lazy.
It’s a fine game with some fun features. But it’s just not that special or exciting as most Quickspin slots.
And for me, the Spinions series aren’t that exciting either. The theme is colorful and fun, but also, aren’t they just trying to use Minions without the intellectual property?
Well, I am guessing players like these games, because it’s the fourth one in the series. If a game is not popular at all, I don’t think it will get sequels.
