This new game is called The Tumbles. While the name refers to the tumbling feature, the theme is more of an Ice Age looking theme. A frozen landscape where the reels sit against with frozen blocks, mammoths and more.
The game uses 6 reels that are each 6 symbols high. But not all spots on the reels are open to begin with. But when all symbols are opened, this setup will give 46.656 ways.
Besides low paying suits symbols there are also high paying character symbols. Then there are wild symbols, which only appears on reels 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. And scatter symbols, which appear on all reels. Lastly there are multiplier symbols, which also appear on all reels except the first reel.
The Tumbles comes with a maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.

When you get a winning combination, all winning symbols, but also frozen spots above and/or below the winning symbols are removed, opening more ways. Then new symbols fall down, creating the option for another winning combination. This process keeps repeating until no new winning combinations appear.
Multiplier Symbols
Special multiplier symbols can appear on all reels, except the first reel. Multiplier symbols can appear active, or inactive, depending if the block is still frozen.
All active multipliers are added together after all winning tumbles are done. Multiplier values can be between x2 to x10.
When you also manage to destroy all locked spots, you will get an added multiplier of between x5 and x10.
Free Spins Features
3 scatter symbols will award 8 free spins, each extra scatter will add 1 more free spin.
Free spins come with less locked spots and more multiplier symbols.
All multiplier symbols that appear, when they are active, are collected into a meter which can only go up. And this multiplier is used for all winning combinations.
Each scatter symbol landing during free spins will add 1 more free spin.
Buy Bonus
Most casinos will offer the option to buy the free spins feature for 50 times your bet. This will award a minimum of 3 scatter symbols.
Verdict
Relax Gaming has more of these tumbling slots with those locked spots and increasing ways. And they are very popular and a lot of fun.
The Tumbles is no different. I might not be the most innovating for them, it’s very similar to other games they have. But it works well and looks nice.
