The red, green and blue gems are the symbols that can trigger the free spins bonus.
Each colored gem is associated with a monkey. And when one or more of the colored gems land, there is a chance that free spins will trigger with the modifier associated with the monkey.
You can trigger 1, 2 or even all 3 modifiers, depending if several gems trigger the bonus.
Each monkey will award 5 free spins. So if you only trigger free spins with one monkey, you get 5 spins, but with two monkeys, you get 10 spins. Or all three monkeys will award 15 free spins.
The monkeys will award free with:

The theme is nothing special, it’s a pretty classic Asian theme with the added monkeys. But I don’t mind it.
The free spins feature can be a lot of fun, especially when you get more than one monkey. But it’s also a bit of it’s negative. Because free spins come randomly, you never know when you might trigger it. And only one active monkey is a bit boring, you really want two or all three.
The free spins also feel a bit like Temujin Treasures, with the mystery symbol. Which is another game from these providers. But I like that game a little more to be honest.
But overall 3 Dancing Monkeys is a good title that is very enjoyable.
