Beasts of Fire was an online slot game by Play’n Go that was released back in 2021. A game with already a big win potential. Now, 3 years after that release we get Beasts of Fire Maximum, with even more win potential.
A lot of the theming remains the same, where the reels sit against snowy mountains and symbols are represented by all sorts of North American animals like a buffalo eagle and mountain lion..
The game uses 5 reels which are each 3, 4, 4, 4 and 3 symbols high, giving a total of 576 ways per spin. But these ways can be increased up to 12.348 ways due to a bonus feature.
Besides low paying card symbols and high paying animal symbols, there are also scatter and wild symbols. These scatters and wilds only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4.
Beasts of Fire Maximum doubles the original maximum win and can now pay up to 50.000 times your bet. It’s a medium to high volatile slot game.

Charging Fire Beasts
This feature can trigger at random during any normal spin. More buffalo, or Fire Beasts as they call them here, are added to the reels increasing the chance on a big win.
Expanding Reels
Each scatter that appears will increase the number of symbols per reel by 1. This can happen up to three times, since there are 3 scatter symbols available.
If all three scatter symbols appear, this means the reels are now 6, 7, 7, 7 and 6 symbols high and giving you the maximum of 12.348 ways.
Landing all three scatters will also trigger the Maximum Burning Spins feature.
Maximum Burning Spins
You will be awarded with 8 free spins where all reels keep their maximum size.
During free spins more Fire Beasts are added to the reels.
Each scatter symbol appearing during free spins will add 1 more free spin, up to a maximum of 100.
Verdict
Play’n Go manages to keep a lot of the original game, Beasts of Fire, but it all feels a little more polished.
Although the theme is almost exactly the same, this one looks a little better in my opinion.
They even kept the expanding reels / ways. And where the original replaced symbols with higher paying symbols, this one just adds more high paying symbols and is played on the maximum number of ways throughout.
Beasts of Fire Maximum is a very nice sequel with a lot more winning potential. So definitely one worth a try if you liked the original and even if you never heard of it before.
