Crown of Valor is a new online slot game by Quickspin.
The game uses a grid of symbols. This is grid is 5 by 5 symbols big, so 25 symbols in total. And a winning combination consists of 5 or more of the same symbols connected vertically or horizontally.
Crown of Valor comes with wild and scatter symbols on all symbols. And also comes with several bonus features. Which will be explained below.
Wild Fire
On the right of the game is a meter that goes up to 18.
Each winning combination will add +1 to that meter. This meter doesn’t reset between spins.
When you reach 18 it will add 4 random burning wild symbols on the grid.
Burning Wilds
Every time you get a cluster of winning combinations they are removed and new symbols fall on top.
Also a random wild symbol will be added after each winning combination. When one or more of these wild symbols appear in a winning combinations they will add +1 to the multiplier.
Free Spins Feature
Getting 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will award 10, 14 or 18 free spins respectively.
During free spins any winning combination will increase the multiplier by +1. And also each burning wild used in a winning combination will add +1 to the multiplier.
Multipliers don’t reset during free spins.
Each scatter symbol appearing during free spins will add one more free spin.
Verdict
Crown of Valor is one of those grid games that you see more and more these days. Play’n Go is the champion of this type of games, but Quickspin also has a couple of them.
These games are a lot of fun, but also a bit confusing sometimes with all the features. Crown of Valor is also a bit hard to explain, but when playing it all becomes clear pretty fast.
I forgot to mention that you can also buy the free spins feature for 80 times your bet. This will award 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols.
Crown of Valor is not my type of game. I don’t like the look and I feel the free spins feature is very hard to trigger without buying and also doesn’t pay a lot most of the time. But I am sure that a lot of players will like the game a lot.
