One of the more popular and very recognizable slots by Gamomat is the game Roman Legion. The game also has some variants like for instance Roman Legion Xtreme.
Now Gamomat has released a darker version of the original game, probably for upcoming Halloween, called Dead Legion.
This version uses all the same symbols, but it all looks dead, haunted and creepy. Which by the way is done in a pretty cool looking way.
The game uses 5 reels that are 3 symbols high and comes with 5 paylines.
Besides low paying card symbols you will also find medium to high paying Roman symbols. There are also wild symbols on all reels and bonus symbols can appear on reels 1, 3 and 5.
Dead Legion doesn’t list a maximum payout, but five-of-a-kind wilds pay 500 times bet and during free spins you can get this multiple times. The game is highly volatile.

Getting all three bonus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 at the same time will award 10 free spins.
During free spins all wild symbols appearing will become sticky and will stay on the reels until the end of the feature.
You can’t win extra free spins.
Verdict
I know Dead Legion is just a re-themed Roman Legion. But I have always enjoyed the original game and still do to this day. And I thought Gamomat did a good job giving this game a creepy overhaul.
Also, this game, as with a lot of the more classic Gamomat slots, can award some great wins, if you’re lucky.
