The Huff N’ Puff series has been going for a while already, both in land-based casinos, but also online. I already posted about Huff N’ Even More Puff.
Now it’s time for the Huff N’ Puff Money Mansion version. Which to be honest, is a little more basic that all those even more titles. Closer to the original, but with added features.
The theme is still the same, The Wolf and the Three Little Pigs.
You will find 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and this game uses 243 ways instead of lines.
Besides low paying card and tools symbols you also have medium to high paying pigs. Then there are hard hats on all reels and wild wolf symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. Lastly there are Deeds on all reels, which count as a scatter symbol. All normal paying symbols and the hard hat symbols can appear stacked on all reels.
Huff N’ Puff Money Mansion comes with a maximum payout of 5.350 times your bet and is a medium to high volatile slot game.
Features
Free Spins
Getting 6 or more hard hats anywhere will trigger the free spins feature. Above each reel you will also see a pig, which can pop its head up, showing 1, 2 or 3 hard hats. These also count towards the 6 needed to trigger the feature.
You are awarded with 6 free spins where the frames of the triggering symbols will become straw. Each time a new hard hat lands, it will leave a frame, or upgrade an exciting frame if one was already active. The frames go from straw to wood and finally brick (which are golden frames).
3 or more hard hat symbols during free spins will add 1 more free spin.
Once all free spins are done, the frames will award the following:
- Straw: Between 0,5 and 2 times bet
- Wood: Between 2 and 8 times bet, or the Mini jackpot, Mini jackpot x2 or Minor jackpot
- Brick: Between 10 and 250 times bet, or the Mini jackpot, Mini jackpot x2, Minor jackpot, Major jackpot or Grand jackpot
Money Mansion Feature
Landing 3 or more Deeds anywhere will trigger the Money Mansion Feature.
You will see a big mansion with all sorts of multipliers, jackpots and a paint brush and a hammer.
A random highlight will move across the mansion and land on one of those symbols.
- Multiplier- Multiplies your bet times the number you land on
- Jackpot – Will instantly award the jackpot
- Paint Brush – Touch up Feature – Works the same as free spins, but before free spins start random reels are painted over and when a reel is painted over it will make at least 2 straw frames on that reel
- Hammer – Home Improvement Feature – Works the same as free spins, but the reels are now 4 symbols high, giving 1024 ways. And between 5 and 10 random straw frames are added before free spins start
Verdict
Like I mentioned in an earlier post, the original Huff N’ Puff was a very popular game when it was released, and at that time, pretty unique.
After this the mechanism has been copied a lot.
I like all versions, they all come with some different added features and bonuses. But the main focus has always been this Hold & Spin type of feature. With the upgrading of the frames. Which is what makes the games popular.
Huff N’ Puff Money Mansion is also a nice additions and the Deeds scatters triggering the Money Mansion Feature works well and can award upgraded free spins.
