Le Bunny – Overview
Hacksaw has transformed Smokey, their popular raccoon into an Easter bunny for their latest slot release called Le Bunny.
But, where a lot of these “Le” slots offer something different, this one is a direct clone of Le Santa, but with the Easter theme added on top.
As with all their games, it looks very nice. It’s colorful, we have chocolate bunnies, eggs and of course Smokey standing angry next to the reels.
The game uses 6 reels that are 5 symbols high and comes with a cluster pays mechanism. 5 or more of the same symbols that are horizontally and/or vertically connected, count as winning combination. You will also find tumbles or reactions on this game. Winning clusters are removed and also all matching symbols anywhere else on the reels. The rest of the symbols fall down and new symbols are added from the top. Creating the possibility for several winning combinations in a row, within the same spin.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying Easter or Spring themed symbols, you will also find scatter symbols on all reels. Wild symbols can also appear on all reels. And lastly there are rainbows, explained below.
Le Easter comes with a very big maximum payout of 20.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Golden Squares
When a winning cluster is removed, the background of where the symbols where will turn into golden squares.
When a rainbow symbol is present on the reels, after all winning clusters are paid, all those golden squares will turn into cash symbols or special symbols.
- Coins will award between 0,2x and 500x bet (these appear as bronze, silver and golden)
- Clovers multiply the values of all Coins adjacent with between x2 and x20
- Buckets collects all revealed Coins and other buckets and takes that value, all other spots will now re-spin and reveal new coins or special symbols
- Jackpots can appear as an Easter egg because of golden squares or just land, these are only collected when a rainbow is active
Free Spins Features
3 or more scatter symbols will trigger a free spins feature. Depending on the number of scatters that triggered the feature, you will play a different free spins feature.
- Spell of Luck – 3 scatter symbols – 10 free spins where all golden squares stay on the reels until they are activated. 2 or 3 scatter symbols during these spins will add 2 and 4 extra free spins respectively.
- Swiping the Sweets – 4 scatter symbols – 10 free spins where all golden squares will stay on the reels until the end of the free spins, even if they are activated in between. 2 or 3 scatter symbols during these spins will add 2 and 4 extra free spins respectively.
- Rainbow Riches – 5 scatter symbols – 10 free spins with the same features as Swiping the Sweets, but also a guaranteed rainbow symbol during each spin and coins are always silver or gold. 2 or 3 scatter symbols during these spins will add 2 and 4 extra free spins respectively.
Bonus Buy
Le Easter offers several bonus buy options. For 3x the bet you can activate a 5 times higher chance of triggering the bonus. 60x the bet will guarantee you to land at least 1 winning combination and 1 rainbow symbol. For 80x the bet you can buy Spell of Luck and for 250x the bet you can buy Swiping the Sweets. Rainbow Riches isn’t available as a bonus buy.
Verdict
To be honest, Le Santa was a a reskin of Le King and now Le Bunny is a reskin of Le Santa. So we already have 3 of the same games. Which is a bit of a letdown. But I do understand that a lot of providers release holiday themed slots as a reskin.
As always, I like the look of Le Easter and already liked the features. So that won’t change on this one.
It’s just a matter of what theme you like the best, or maybe at what time of the year you are playing, to pick Le King, Le Santa or Le Bunny,
But it’s just a clone, so there isn’t much else to say.
