Lucky Mermaid Overview
Swintt has released another online slot game. This one is called Lucky Mermaid and uses an underwater theme.
Games from Swintt are always very basic. They feel a lot like games you will find in land-based casinos in Germany and The Netherlands. And also feel like Novomatic or Merkur slots. Which I personally love.
This new slot game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 10 lines.
There are basic card symbols, all sorts of fish and a mermaid that acts as the wild symbol. All these symbols can appear stacked on all reels.
But if you think this is a new, innovative game, it’s not. In fact this game is available from several providers. Maybe with different themes or paylines, but they are the same.
The maximum payout of Lucky Mermaid is not known. But a line of 5 wild symbols does pay 1.000 times your bet. And these can appear stacked. So I think the maximum might be 10.000 times your bet.
Lucky Mermaid Features
Hold & Respin
While playing the game you can get letters on the reels, spelling the word MULTI. As soon as you have collected all 5 letters while playing you will trigger the Hold & Respin bonus.
During the feature only pearl symbols appear that have cash value of between 1 and 75 times your bet. Or a x2 or x3 multiplier.
You will get 3 respins, which are reset when one or more new pearl symbols appear.
The feature ends when you run out of respins or when you fill the entire screen.
Any multipliers collected during the respins will multiply the total value of all pearls collected.
As I started with in the beginning, Swintt offers pretty basic slot games. But games than can award some great wins and I think are fun to play.
Lucky Mermaid is no different. The game is again, pretty basic. The triggering the bonus feature is a nice touch, no scatters or bonus symbols, but collecting the word multi during normal spins.
And of course that bonus is a standard Hold & Respin bonus. Which we’ve seen a lot already. This one did add those multipliers, which can increase the win.
I think it’s fine game, which I do enjoy. But the game is nothing new and nothing special.
