Mayan Fire Overview
It’s been a while since Gamomat released a new slot game and I posted about it. The last post is about Books & Bounties. so I’m happy they have today.
Gamomat is one of those providers that create very simple games, often with a low number of paylines, but they are just fun and can pay some great wins, even with smaller bets.
This new game is called Mayan Fire. And it comes with a full mayan theme. Mayan priests, golden wheels, masks and standard card symbols. Against a jungle, temple background and all the sounds you expect from a Mayan themed game.
Mayan Fire is played on 5 reels, each 3 symbols high and uses 10 lines.
Wild symbols, that are golden wheels, appear stacked on all reels. Scatter symbols, a pyramid temple, appear on all reels. And you will also find special fireballs that have values on them.

Free Spins Feature
3 or more scatter symbols will award 10 free spins.
During free spins all low paying symbols, 10, J, Q, K and A are removed from the reels. All other symbols, expect the scatter symbol, now appear stacked on all reels.
3 or more scatter symbols will award 10 more free spins.
Fire Respins can also be triggered during free spins.
Fire Respins
If you get 6 or more fireball symbols you will trigger the Fire Respins.
All ball symbols are held and all other symbols respin. Only fireball symbols appear on the reels.
You will get 3 respins which are reset every time at least one new symbol appears.
The feature ends when you run out of respins or when you fill the entire reels with fireball symbols.
You can also hit a Mini, Minor, Major and Inferno jackpot. The Mini, Minor and Major appear on fireball symbols. The Inferno is won when you fill the entire screen. The values are 50, 100, 200 and 500 times your bet.
Verdict
Although Mayan Fire seems like a pretty basic game, it does pack a lot of good. The stacked wilds, the fire respins and on top of that even a free spins feature with no low paying symbols.
I like it a lot. I also think the game looks great. Big, clear symbols, as we are used to from Gamomat.
Sure, the game doesn’t offer anything new, we’ve seen all these features before. But somehow I still like the game. And the combination of the features seems to work great.
