Quickspin released a new cool looking slot game called Fire Tale.
A game that evolves around fireworks. With a very nice looking, sort of anime style theme with Asian influences. It really make for a very nice looking slot game.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 4 symbols high and comes with 1024 ways instead of paylines.
Besides low paying flame symbols in different colors, you will also find medium and high paying symbols like fire stones, scrolls and the main character. There are also scatter symbols that can appear on all reels. And lastly, stacked wild symbols that appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 and come with a special nudge feature.
Fire Tale comes with maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet and is a medium to high volatile slot game.
Features
Fire Respins
Stacked wilds can appear on reels 2, 3 and 4. Or also on reel 5 when extra bet is activated.
When a partially wild is present on a reel, at random it might nudge to cover the entire reel. Each nudge will give the wild a +1 multiplier. And after this it will trigger Fire Respins.
The stacked wild is held and becomes sticky. You will then receive 2 respins. If a new partially or fully wild hits, it will also fill the entire reel and become sticky as well and award 1 more respin.
Fusion Free Spins
3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will award 10, 12 and 15 free spins respectively.
During these spins only blank spots and fireworks appear with different levels. When a fireworks symbol lands it will become sticky. When 2 of the same symbols appear next to each other, horizontally and/or vertically, they will fuse into one, higher level symbol.
After all free spins are done, the symbols will award cash rewards or jackpot amounts depending on their level. From between 0,25 and 100 times bet, or the Mini, Minor, Major or Grand jackpot.
Each time symbols fuse together it will add a ball to the next of the reels, each time you collected a certain amount of those balls, it will add extra free spins.
Bonus Buy
Fire Tale comes with a couple of bonus buy options. For 15x bet you can buy Fire Respin. For 40x bet you can buy Fusion Free Spins and for 75x bet you can but Fusion Free Spins with a 5 scatter trigger.
Verdict
Fire Tale is a very nice looking game with familiar, but well done features.
The nudging wilds and re-spins is something Quickspin has done before on for instance Sakura Princess 2. But it’s always a nice feature.
Then we have a Hold & Re-spin feature, but with different levels and the fusing of symbols, which also makes for a more interesting feature than a standard Hold & Re-spin.
I also really like the look of this game. Very well made.
Overall I think Fire Tale is a solid new title from Quickspin. But to be honest, I like almost all Quickspin slots.
