Piggy Blitz Overview
Play’n Go has released a new online slot game called Piggy Blitz.
This new game uses a theme that we see a lot in online slot games, money and wealth combined with pigs.
The game uses 6 reels that are each 4 symbols high and comes with 4096 ways.
Besides low paying card symbols you will also find medium and high paying gambling themed symbols like bells, dice and diamonds. animal symbols. There are also scatter symbols on all reels and coin symbols. On reels 1 and 5 there are special pig symbols.
Piggy Blitz comes with a maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Piggy Blitz Features
Golden coin symbols can appear on all reels and have a value of between 0,1 and 25 times bet. Or are a Minor (100x), Major (250x) or Mega (1000x).
A pig symbol can only land on reels 1 and 5. These pig symbols will collect all coin values and pay them. When both pigs land, they will both collect all symbols and pay both.
3 or more scatter symbols will trigger the Blitz Spinz feature.
During Blitz Spinz only Golden Coins and Pig symbols appear. One pig is always guaranteed during each spin.
When the feature is triggered with 3 scatters you will be awarded 5 free spins and the Minor is active. 4 scatters will award 10 free spins with the Minor and Major active. 5 scatter will award 25 free spins with the Minor, Major and Mega active. And 6 scatters will award 50 free spins, also with all jackpot amounts active.
Piggy Blitz is an average game. And I think that’s fine. Not all new releases can be these amazing, impactful titles that shake the gambling world.
I’m not a big fan of the theme. I think it’s been done too many times. We get the rich pig theme by now.
But overall the gameplay is ok. During the base game pigs seem to appear frequent enough to award those golden coins. And of course during free spins you are guaranteed these golden coins are collected. But you also need at least 5 scatters to qualify for all jackpot amounts, which I don’t like. You should be able to win those, no matter how many scatters trigger the bonus.
Overall it’s just a fine game. I’ve played it a while, but I’m already done with it. One of those games.
