Super Jungle – Overview
Endorphina has released a rather different new online slot game called Super Jungle.
As the name suggests reels are set within a green jungle setting within two statues.
What is very different about this game are the reels and the symbols. There aren’t really any reels. There is a grid with 18 holes and these spots can only show blank spots, golden coins or one of two special symbols. More on those later. And that’s it. So there are no normal paying symbols and also no paylines.
Super Jungle comes with a low maximum payout of 1.800 times bet and is a low volatility slot game.
Features
Collector Symbol
During base spins, on the middle, bigger spot, only blank spots or a special green symbol can appear. When the green symbol appears, all the other coins values are collected and paid.
Hold and Win
During base spins there can also land a special bonus symbol. When this bonus symbol is collected by the Green symbol, the Hold and Win feature is triggered.
You will receive 3 re-spins where only blank symbols and golden coins can land. Any coin that lands is held and will also reset the spins back to 3.
Instead of the green symbol, now a red symbol can land on the middle, bigger symbol. When this red symbol lands, all values of all coins on the reels are collected and instantly paid. The red symbol won’t stick.
The feature ends when you run out of spins, or when you fill all 18 spots. When this happens, you are rewarded an extra 1.000x bet win.
Verdict
Overall Super Jungle is just another Hold and Win slot game. But instead of normal reels with normal symbols, the game already is a Hold and Win feature of itself.
It’s a nice idea and also works pretty well. Especially for players that enjoy these types of games.
But because there are no normal paying symbols or paylines, the base game can get a little boring. Because all you are looking out for is that green symbol.
So I’m not sure if everyone will enjoy this game and the low maximum payout also doesn’t help.
But if you are looking for a rather simple slot game, even a low volatile one. And if you enjoy Hold and Win features, Super Jungle might be the game for you.
