Wu Zetian – Overview
A new online slot game has been released by Realtime Gaming called Wu Zetian.
Wu Zetian was the only official empress China ever had. She ruled for 5 years from 685 to 690. And this game is themed around her.
The game uses 5 reels which are each 3 symbols high and comes with 25 paylines.
You will find low paying items and medium to high paying character symbols. Wild and scatter symbols also appear on all reels.
Wu Zetian comes with a pretty big maximum payout of 12.500 times bet and is a medium volatility slot game.
Features
Linked Reels
During base spins two reels will always spin in sync. The reels which spin together can move around between spins.
Free Spins
Land 3 or more scatter symbols on consecutive reels will trigger the free spins feature.
You are awarded with 5 free spins.
Reels will be linked depending on the scatters. So if scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 triggered the feature, those reels will spin synced. If reels 1, 2, 3 and 4 will trigger the feature, those reels are linked.
Verdict
Wu Zetian uses a pretty nice theme. I especially like how those big symbols look when reels spin synchronized.
And of course this is the main point of this game. You want as much synced reels as possible, and preferably starting on reel 1, which guarantees wins on every spin.
Overall it’s a decent game and does come with a nice maximum payout. But the game can also become a bit boring, especially during base spins. So keep that in mind.
