Play’n GO has released a new online slot game called Triple Tumblin’ Totems.
It’s sort of a three pot slot game, but does work a little bit different.
For a theme you will find colorful totems within a jungle setting where the reels are set against a big volcano. It’s not the most interesting or convincing theme, to be honest.
The game uses 5 reels which are each 3 symbols high and comes with 243 ways instead of paylines, which can increase up to 3125 ways because of a feature.
You will find low paying card symbols and medium to high paying themed symbols. Wild symbols can also appear on all reels. Any normal paying symbols can appear stacked.
Lastly there are also three different totem symbols, that can appear on top of normal symbols and correspond with the totems on the left of the reels.
Triple Tumblin’ Totems comes with a maximum payout of 5.000 times bet and is a medium to high volatility slot game.
Features
Tumbling Reels
Any winning combination is removed from the reels, the remaining symbols fall down and new symbols are added on top. Creating more options for new wins. This keeps repeating until no new win occurs.
Totem Blessing
Special symbols can land during the base game which are green, blue and red. Each time one of these symbols land, it is collected by the corresponding totem and can randomly trigger that totem’s feature. Each of the three features comes with 2 or 3 random wilds and then the following.
- Green – Expand – On every tumble, when winning symbols are removed, the affected reel increases by 1 spot. Reels can increase up to a maximum of 4 symbols high, giving a maximum of 1.024 ways.
- Blue – Transform – On every tumble, when winning symbols are removed, a frame appears on that spot. After all tumbles are over all frames change into instant cash rewards of between 0,5 and 5x bet.
- Red – Multiplier – On every tumble, when winning symbols are removed, a multipliers starting on x1 is added to the reels where symbols are removed, up to a maximum of x5.
Free Spins Feature
Free spins are triggered when you reach enough consecutive tumbles.
- 4 tumbles award Fire Spins
- 5 tumbles award Blaze Spins
- 8 tumbles award Inferno Spins
Each feature comes with 7 free spins and Fire, Blaze or Inferno Free Spins will add 1, 2 or all 3 modifiers during free spins.
You will also get 1 random sticky wild symbol after each non winning spin.
3 or more consecutive tumbles will add 1 extra spin.
The modifiers are also improved during free spins. Reels can now go up to 5 symbols with Expand. Frames can now go from bronze, silver to gold, awarding bigger rewards during Transform. And Multipliers can now go up to x10 when Multiplier is active.
Verdict
Triple Tumblin’ Totems is another three pot slot game. Of which we’ve seen a lot lately.
And this one isn’t bad, it comes with a couple of fun modifiers, especially when they are combined. But it’s also nothing really special. The game doesn’t standout at all to be honest.
But I’m sure there are plenty of players that would like another 3-pot slot game. With some different mechanisms than normal.
Overall a decent game but probably one that isn’t one you will remember in a couple of months.
